He redeemed himself a little after Mulholland Drive, but Siskel really completed him for being inversely correct almost every time he did his pearl clutching

I used to hear people criticize Roeper as having vapid, empty things to say about movies just to try and get Siskel-style arguments out of Ebert. It wasn't until I saw the Lilo & Stitch review that I get it now. What an absolute wet towel and a pickme. Poor Ebert
