Caught up on Full Gear. Really good show, thought the only match that didn't really work was the National Title Gauntlet. Stat/Mone started slow but ended strong, the Gauntlet just kind of meandered.

One thing AEW loves is doing some run ins and/or a belt shot, a false finish then some wrestling to give you a "clean" finish or another run in.

I am not a fan of when a title match becomes about a series of run ins but I get it, it happens in every promotion except I guess CMLL but titles don't matter there.

One good thing it did was having the run ins and especially the belt shot just end the match.

It's funny, I didn't watch any of that shit but assumed he had to have some physical limitations because why else would they turn him into an announcer.
