as someone who yearns to have a full 8 hours of sleep i am so sorry omfggg

a vanilla screenshot of an FC, taken in the fall. i was still shy and trying to find my people in this game, and it turns out I found them!

of course, online spaces and hobbies affect people in any way, but today I just wanted to share a piece of my experience. i love all the people out there that make these places possible by spreading kindness and shutting down toxicity. cherish each other and keep it up :)

these spaces aren't just a distraction (although, with a world like this, it's nice that they are). the ways they help might seem small, but they add up so much. they help us be brave like our WoLs when we otherwise may feel powerless and weak,

i was lucky! then and now! i'm always gonna be grateful for the communities i get to be a part of and the people they comprise of. i had no idea that the seeds that were planted as a kid would lead me to where i am today. xiv is that community for me now, and is the same for so many others! (3/X?)

like many others out there, I "grew up" online. irl too of course, but due to circumstances, i owe most of what i consider now to be my most human qualities to the pockets i found on the internet - on MMOs, rp forums, and on the aim and msn chats that followed. (2/X?)
