I cracked a joke disliking OFMD on Twitter, and the Bluesky fandom decided to get very racist in response. They told me to go “brush my hair.”

All this over a television show that woobified a slave owner.

And I’m not your “fam.”

Okay, I’m not calling myself perfect. YOU called ME an asshole in MY mentions. We don’t know each other will enough for that.

You do not live in the real world — “calling someone an asshole isn’t a moral statement”, oh my god, do you hear yourself?

You know what, you can go to hell too.

Are you going to address the fact you used harsher language to describe me, the Black woman subjected to the all racial antagonism, than offending parties? Or are you going to chalk that up to “awkward places” and “the thread was annoying.”

But you have no problem characterizing me as an “asshole” for an “annoying” joke?

I want you to answer this question, and yet you won’t engage this point.

I’m sorry, but if you’ve reached your thirties and can’t handle someone disliking your fandoms, you need to loosen up a little.

Rachel approached me with an opinion I disagreed with — I don’t think we need to support “all” queer shows for queerness’ sake — so I cracked a joke because I didn’t feel like a debate. Instead of walking it off, she escalated the entire situation.

And I also blocked this person. If they’re offering any “apologies”, it’s to make themselves look better in your eyes — because it’s not like it’s directed to me.

Cracking a joke about disliking a show is not “being an asshole.” Why are you doing this in my mentions?

If he wants to provide entertainment and passion and a way for families to come together he could always buy Medieval Times

I love fandom but if you don’t interact with the things you like outside of fandom you WILL go insane
