As an artist and a curator/event organiser, I often feel the “gatekeeper” vibes creep in to what I do.
I will say straight up, if you hit me up for a gig and a basic search of your name/artist profile doesn’t instantly show me that you are actively anti-Zionist, I don’t have time for your music.

And I’m in the final stages of my next record, a very different beast but I’m super excited to share it, been a big process!

A lot of artists are gutless. They'll make a stand on something if they can finagle some kind of self promotion for their action, but otherwise sit back and quietly participate in their own exploitation.
I am seeing a lot of this right now. It's disappointing.

Artists, especially musicians in my community. Boycott shows/opportunities offered by the NGV and associated zioinst institutions.

This is just a friendly reminder that if someone mentions Oct 7 or “free the hostages”, it’s your duty as a real human being to punch that person.

It means cutting off your music mates who take those gigs, and calling out people who go, or who buy records by those artists.
