On this day in 2021, Leeds United fans got the hump when we sold Ben White to Arsenal, thinking he was their player!
The defender had a season on loan in each tier before playing in the top flight for the Albion.

After two long years playing home games at Gillingham, Albion were finally back in Brighton. Withdean Stadium welcomed Nottingham Forest for the inaugural friendly.

The German scored Albion’s first Premier League goal and was a model of consistency during his seven-year spell.

Over 32,000 Albion fans were at the Twin Towers for the Second Division Play-off Final. Wearing the infamous red ‘Chewits wrapper’ kit, the 3-1 defeat to Notts County was compounded by Dave Regis scoring for the Magpies with his plums.
