100% seriously, European leaders and Commission officials should plan on the basis that the US might do this to them too, about Greenland, about tech regulation, about “Christian values”, about “free speech”, whatever.

i believe the unilateral abduction of a head of state and commission of air strikes against his country's civilian and political infrastructure is deeply unamerican and a gross and unsettling violation of fundamental US and international laws and norms. however,

If you don't understand how close tens of millions of Britons are to wanting a full-blown revolution, let alone fail to understand why, then you have no value as a political commentator 17:13 • 10 Aug 25 • 19.3K Views

the vibes are obviously dreadful right now but, and i really stress i am not complacent about this, was the far right trouble not much worse last year? the excitement of these commentators in anticipation of something bigger and awful taking place really is gross!

I wrote my first review which is probably really bad, more of a political spiel contains spoilers and likely far to generous to its politics. But is has had a profound effect on a cynical doomer like me boxd.it/amq8uX

In a major development on the global trade front, the European Union has decided to delay its planned retaliatory tariffs on a range of U.S. products for a 90-day period. The move follows a White House decision to hold off on imposing most of its own tariffs.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen confirmed the pause, adding that the bloc still retains the option to act if talks don’t yield results, CNBC reported.

“We want to give negotiations a chance,” von der Leyen posted on social media. “If discussions do not progress satisfactorily, our countermeasures will take effect. Preparations on that front are ongoing, and all options remain on the table.”

this may be the single most belligerent thing an EU bureaucrat said to a US president in my lifetime, maybe ever

"we will allow you to make us an offer but we're gonna continue preparing to fuck you up if it isn't satisfactory"

It had a truly horrific release glitch’s everywhere it was basically broken plus the multiplayer never worked

But the game itself is very good just let down by being rushed out the door

have to massively disagree (I’m currently replaying so may come back and change my mind) but I loved getting a look into what was factional wars within both the creed and templars and how this uneasy peace between the two groups was held together- plus love story between Arno and Elise

interesting

It is pretty baffling that assassins creed unity isn’t considered the best AC game bar the Ezio games
