To get a bearing on Lycan-type I wanted for this, it had to be more human than bestial. I experimented. Considered some regality. In the end, I decided on something more like the wolfman.

So yeah "The Sisyphean Crown"! What you will see is that this has a lot of dark & contrast. Got this idea from @samdoesarts.bsky.social doing a study on youtube π on a @ttguweiz.bsky.social who uses strong contrasts, but also subtle contrasts. Thought I'd give it a try. More soon!

While creating "The Sisyphean Crown" I was really searching for the right pose. My purpose was to have you just feel the weight of the boulder. A lot of Sisyphus art never made me feel this way as most of these show him from the side.
My challenge: See the look on his face while pushing up hill.
