Tumblr user nocryptographer: I talked with someone who works in book publishing, and they mentioned they get a lot of AI slop these days. I asked how they know what's human-written, and they said that there's one thing that will reveal AI slop without error, and that's the author not knowing their own creation. A real author can talk about their story for hours. They love to elaborate every character, every twist, every detail. Because those existed in their head long before they ever made it to the paper. They were loved before they were written. AI slop wasn't. It was just vomited into existence. Someone who generates their story with AI will never bond with their story the way real writers do. That's why they may not know what to say when they're asked why did the character do this, or even remember the scene in the first place. It's something they read, not something they wrote. And to a writer, those are not the same. There's a unique bond between the creator and the creation. If your writing doesn't come of you, you'll always lack that. I keep hearing soon we won't be able to tell. And perhaps, in a superficial sense, that's true. But there is a difference. It's not em dashes or repeated words. It's whether the story was made by someone who loves it and cares about it. If the writer's eyes light up when asked why did the character do that? and they start their very own Ted Talk about that specific scene... then it's real.

This guide showed up on my feed and it got me interested enough to download Riichi City. Which has a really good tutorial in it.
I'm now looking out for Basic Tanyas, Eepy Cows, and cursing at every Reachy Ron that beats me and my Ten Pies.

Lots of little mistakes in this that I'd know how to fix if this were digital, but that's why part of why I still like doing traditional art.

I love smooth your pixel art, and this one in particular looks so smooth despite having zero curves. It's all straight diagonal lines but it flows so well.

I had this fun idea that the Rift crossovers also bring the enemies from the other games in and I think that'd be freaking cool.

I both love and hate when I absolutely nail one half of a large drawing. Like damn that's awesome, I did that? But also, wow this is a lot of pressure to get the other half good too.

My favorite watch-along of a playthrough of a game ever was like a decade ago when Dooger (PressHeartToContinue) played Undertale and did all the routes.

I doubt Jack's gonna go back and play the other routes, so I'm gonna watch Charlie (Sonar)'s playthrough as well just to see more of the game.

Please please please Adhoc, I'd love a Season 2!
This game is so so good. I didn't even play it myself and I'm still considering it for my personal game of the year, along with Silksong, Rift of the Necrodancer, and a few others.

Haven't just watched a full playthrough of a game in a while.

But watching Jacksepticeye playthrough of Dispatch and him making most of the decisions I would, getting a great ending, and having the commentary of someone who worked on it.
Gosh, what a good experience and an amazing fucking game!!!

Madi & Katie dye streaks in theirs but none of my main OCs fully dye their hair.
Unless I'm forgetting one Sleepy OC is my only OC that fully dyes their hair. She's normally got blonde hair and dyes it a peachy pink.

Didn't realize I never really did this 'til now.
