1,100+ words today. A lot of it is dialogue that probably slows the story down too much and will need to get cut later, but it's scaffolding that helps me get material on paper so I can chip away the inessential parts afterward. It's all part of the process.

Written my last for three of the POVs, three more to go!

It's been a few days since I checked in on this, but I had a busy few days and didn't get any writing done. I made up for it, though, with 1180 words today. And most importantly, I had a great time doing it.

Aubergine stood behind Peaches and whistled to get everyone’s attention. “Friends, foes, and fuckers, may I have your attention, please?”

Another day of big progress. Coming up on the last chapter of the climax, then it's just the falling action (and chapter 1).

The white light peeled back, a wound that grew and festered until it encompassed the vast majority of the bright expanse. Beyond the veil of white was a violent sea of colour, bright shards of glass shattering as they collided together and birthed new colour.

Written a lot the last few days, just not for this particular book...

Ended up doing a lot of reading today, so little writing. Still, got started on Peaches's nonbinary coming out party

Parsnips cooked a grand feast, with plenty of sweets, since Peaches had quite the sweet tooth. He made peach-flavored ice cream, pies, and candies.

1,175 words of a new story today. This ought to keep me busy while I brainstorm for my longform project. And because this one's going to be short and ridiculous, I'm not worried about plausible plotlines or complex characterization!

Actually about 1500 words today. It started rough, but once I got to the infodump, I... well... infodumped.

"But they like their wedding traditions. It’s ‘cute’ and they don’t want to ruin that by thinking about how the jewels were plucked out of a person’s face.”

Hope I can finish this chapter tomorrow, it's been such a hurdle for so long
