Some misunderstanding here. People weren't upset about the comparison, they were upset to hear the passing of their time on this earth delineated in such bleak terms

Today was a very good day at the convention, although I made some people pretty upset when I said that trying to get kids excited about the NES launch today is like trying to get kids at the NES launch excited about Casablanca

The next day, DK and Rosalina are hanging out. Rosa looks tired and has a cup of coffee in her hands. DK asks if Pauline asked if she was awake. Rosalina says “Mhmm”. DK then asks if she listened to everything Pauline said. Rosalina again says “Mhmm”. DK then approvingly says “Good”.
