Served on the corvette, HMS Cadmus. Although Mr. Lark was stationed in Halifax in 1861, the Notman Studio did not yet exist as a business. Perhaps, Mr. Lark had his photograph taken during one of Notman's visits to Halifax or when his ship visited the port of Montreal. 1861.
