A 4-slide notice to let my online customers know that I'm putting my online shops into Holiday Mode (making them unavailable for service) earlier than I usually would at this time of year. The text reads: "Hey, all. I'm sorry to say that I've decided to close my shops for the holidays early this year. TL;DR: parcels mailed from my area of the UK will be delayed, and I can't get any new stock printed in time. "To elaborate: my local post sorting facility is experiencing backlogs and delays. I usually keep my shops open until Royal Mail's recommended last postage dates, to ensure all orders arrive in time for Christmas. Over the past week, my online customers have reported that their orders are arriving 2~ days late domestically, and 3~5 days late internationally. Because of this delay, I have decided it will be better (for myself and my customers) that I shut my shop early, and dispatch all orders as early as possible."

"As for the stock issue: one of my main manufacturers is closing early this December for relocation. I'm already running low on some popular items, and with my most trusted supplier (understandably!) shutting down soon, I won't be able to get new stock prepared until the new year. I want to avoid disappointing my customers, so this has become another factor that influenced my decision."
