A couple of yellow-bellied sapsuckers are doing what they do in a tree. The first one gasps and says: "Leaves! Finally! Spring is here! Relief from the misery at last!" The second one goes "Oh, this winter wasn't so bad, in fact, the daily highs were well above average–" but this statement gets interrupted by the thoughts of the first bird thinking "I could kill him.
