That begs the question though—can you simply remove entire sections of a Rey Dau's metallic carapace like one peels a chestnut from a horse? Does this hurt the Rey Dau? 🤷
I am very sleep deprived, hyperfixating intensely on this particular monster, and I would love to hear opinions/thoughts.

I'll have to figure out a design that doesn't obstruct the slits on either side of its neck when it charges up a large lightning blast, but that might not be an issue for a mid-sized specimen. The one from leaked footage seems to be on the smaller side, though, so I see why they went with theirs.(5)

It's also where the least amount of movement would be in terms of the carapace/scutes while the monster moves. The placement allows secure attachment without sacrificing mobility with a strap around the base of the neck and two looped tightly around the next row of scutes behind the saddle. (4)

As an aside, hey, I think it's very acceptable to ask why AI platforms that are being sued left and right for copyright infringement, deepfake pornography, and wrongful death are not "high risk" like (checks notes) indie games and comics and obvious works of original fiction.
