If "government ownership" were communism, then monarchies, fascist states, and wartime economies would all be communist. Marx explicitly rejected that.

And "no personal property" is a category error. Marx distinguishes personal property (your clothes, your home) from private property in the means of production, which is what generates class domination. Abolishing the latter does not mean abolishing the former.

Likewise, "no government" is not a policy plank but a consequence. Once classes disappear because the means of production are no longer privately owned or exchanged as commodities, the state withers away. Thats not the same thing as "the government owns everything" which is just state capitalism.

Communism is not simply a state where everyone is equal or everyone is treated the same. It is a specific economic condition, the abolition of the commodity form and of production for exchange so that social relations stop being mediated by markets, wages, and private accumulation.

You are describing a false caricature of communism. That summary reduces communism to a vague abstract of moral-legal condition (no government, no personal property) that fundamentally misunderstands the definition of the term since thats not how Marx defines it at all.
