Am getting reports that my Chicago Med faves get to do one of my favorite romance tropes tonight: when one party is sick or at risk and the other party—who hasn’t confessed feelings/is emotionally constipated—loses their entire shit.

One was a rural village schoolteacher in East Bengal and the other was a doctor in the British Indian army and eventually private practice/hospital doctor in West Bengal.
