I think I just hate that we get less new ideas because remakes are brand safe. Even when the final product is good, I'm a very novelty driven creature and I like new settings and characters.

I think I'm mostly upset at myself that there's an outlet there but it's "not good enough". I would love to learn some new music though, my singing experience is all classical and I've stagnated for a long long time.

Very much missing singing today. Which I'm mad at myself about because I have a local choir which while a shadow of it's former self is still good. Thing is I sang with them for 15 years but because of turnover they haven't added to their repertoire in forever and I struggle with that.

As a dyspraxic person who was also new to most forms of art I used to find miniature painting intensely frustrating. It's nice to see in the decade since I put it down I've become both better at precise movements but more importantly more patient.
