Rookie question:

I bought pdfs of 0D&D from DTRPG hoping to print them for personal use through Lulu.com. I found the pdfs are encrypted and Lulu won’t allow me to print them.

Is there a legal way to get physical 0D&D books (besides spending $2,000 on originals)? Thanks

Thanks! It seems to be working well. The players usually gravitate to their favorite PCs, but it does give us the freedom to be flexible whoever turns up.

I’m currently running a campaign where the PCs usually end up back at base each week. So we just go adventuring with whoever is there. Also, we have a pool of PCs rather than each person having their own, with agreement anyone can take any PC. Wanna make sure your favorite doesn’t die? Turn up ;)

Yup. It’s happening just down the road from me in central Missouri.

It remains one of my proudest #TTRPG achievements that I once played a CE Sorcerer based on Michael the Magnificent from #TheITCrowd.

Well, this little set has “seen some action”, as they say, but a very welcome addition to my #OSR #RPG collection: 2nd edition of Marc Miller’s terrific sci-fi game #Traveller!

I loved playing this as a teenager in the 80’s, but wished I’d played more. Looking forward to diving back in.

Most people have an Internal Monologue. The Mog, however, has always had an Internal Theme Tune: Raiders of the Lost Arc. It’s pretty sick, and responsible for my unshakable self esteem.

As sick as that is, I always secretly wished it was the theme to Battle of the Planets. [sigh]

Yeah, as much as I loved D&D, it was kind of shocking to see how well a game could be designed! I wish we’d played more Traveller as kids, but most wanted to play AD&D so that’s what is ran.

Still got a real soft spot for B/X though, dispute all its quirks :)

Agreed! Page-for-page it’s such a well-designed game: logical, clear, simple (without ever being simplistic, somehow). It’s such a well-designed and thoughtfully compiled game.

Oooh, thank for sharing! I’ll enjoy watching that. So glad he is doing well. I always felt Traveller should get more recognition. It is such a smart, well-designed game. I wish I’d played it more as a kid, but very much looking forward o rediscovering it now. Cheers!

I heard several folk mention one for #OSE, yet I cannot find it. I have the Referee’s Tome and Player’s Tome, but no luck.
