I'm very sad about today's vote on the assisted dying bill. I'm praying for everyone who has been left feeling like their life matters a little less. You matter. You are seen. You are loved. I believe we must continue to protest against the bill ahead of future stages and votes.

I am gutted too but I am still hopeful that it will be amended further and ultimately rejected. The debate has only just begun.
