Totally agree. There has clearly been no intention to take a serious look at this form of state sponsored usury. Just to tweak it to be even worse. I feel, like so many others, just a lingering sense of disappointment at this government. Too busy running scared of Reform to be delivering change.

The signing I was hoping for was Nick Wolfemade, whose lifelong love for cheese & bacon oatcakes was just too big a factor in him not settling on Tyneside. But, given the reality of our situation, Milan Smit could well be an excellent signing. He should be a very, very good replacement for Mubama.
