But those creations are not entirely true, they are only half the story. We should find comfort in the truth that time and death wait for no one. A sun rising brings the promise of a sun setting.

“Four Trees” is my first oil painting, inspired by Chapin Park’s south entrance in Wichita. I simplified the scene to four trees to capture the peaceful, wintry mood, focusing on emotion over realism. Painted from studio sketches filtered through my perspective.
