When you say “covid is over” or refer to the pandemic only in the pastense you make it easy for RFK jr to withhold the vaccines & defund clinics. You make it easy for employers to end paid sick days. When you don’t mask up you make it easy to pass bans. We organize but what you do & say matters too.

One of the things I have been most wrong about is I thought COVID might lead to generally higher levels of mask-wearing when travelling like is common in east Asia, and not only has that not really happened, instead as a society we seem to have decided that actually vaccines are bad.
