Battery still working, pretty low deepsleep power consumtion.
Atmega 328p, two buttons each on a wakeup pin to run two different LED sequences, programed in C.

15min warten um zu Beweisen, dass ich ein Mensch bin.
Roboter sind wohl nicht so geduldig.
Finished assembly of first waterproof light. Will build 3 more and improve SW for more effects.
Each device connect via WIFI and send UDP broadcast, Android app recognize them and allow invidual control via UDP messages.
Plan is to mount them below stand up paddle boards or kayaks.
Soldering the battery pad via THT worked perfectly.
But as always, some layout failures happened.
ESP32-S3 XIAO, take care of this tiny mounting slot, took me an hour to find this shortcut. Added Kapton tape between.
And one FET footprint has wrong pin numbering, need to mount it rotated.
Received PCB for my underwater LED project. Challenge for tomorrow will be to solder the battery pads of ESP32 from backside using the carefully aligned through hole pads.
Its always exciting to solder the first batch of boards and hope no layout errors happened.
Found better sealed housing.
Housing will be mounted below SUP with cords.
Now swapping some pins in HW and SW for easier PCB routing.
-App sends commands by UDP
-add function to set colour based on orientation
-antenna will be as close as possible to the top with minimum water between.

Want to go SUP paddling at night. Build a waterproof WIFI controllable RGB LED light to mount below a SUP or kayak.
Prototype work good.
Now I design a PCB for final setup.

Found proper components in my office shelf. Funny!
I use a very similar mobile setup to visualize meeting room air quality.
Better add a low power controller and switch on power of the sensors and ESP every 5-60min. That will reduce required battery size.
You could start with a passive PCB backplane to simply connect all your modules.
