It's not about standards. The crimes he was prosecuted for are ones they never send people to jail for. Further, only reason he was even prosecuted for them was to punish his father. That's not right on any level. It's a flagrant misuse of the law and the time the House spent on it.

I never miss a show.

Fortunately, he's not even that. He's no more than a lobbyist with a fancy title. No power, no authority.

I always saw it as a cesspool.

I'm happy he did. It was appropriate. His crimes were the kind no one goes to jail for, in the first place. In the second place, he would never have even been prosecuted for them except to punish his father.
