10 years ago I organized my, & the, 1st #DjangoGirls event in Seoul, South Korea: 70/425 applicants accepted, it was a huge success. And was the start of a wonderful decade that launched my #Django community involvement and career. 💻

I feel grateful, proud, and inspired to keep paying it forward.🧡

One of the key ways you refuse to comply with fascism is by becoming even louder and more fearless in supporting vulnerable people. You SHOW that you are unwilling to throw the "undesirables" under the bus if only for self-preservation because under fascism you will also become undesirable one day.

The thing everyone can do right now is to find your lane if you don't already have one and work that lane diligently and with commitment.

Not a dry eye in the room by the end. Addiction, recovery, and deep personal relationships in our community is not what you typically hear at a tech conference – but is a key part of #DjangoCon year after year.

Thank you @flipperpa.bsky.social for the many lives you've touched, my own included.

It's getting cooler out and the days are getting shorter. I was bummed for like... a day then realized... It's hoodie - cozy blanket - cat cuddles all the time season! ☺️

Yes you can choose any or both of vibrations and beeps. At whichever interval and bpm. But I have to "run" while practicing my guitar to get it to work though 😅
