I am still working on Treasure Island, but I've more things in the pile than I have time left. I bring this up and repost the link to this Persona #Poem because I have revised this poem to have more effect and added two other persona poems to form the seed of a new cycle. Watch this space!

Thank you. Real life and the lack of basic income have prevented me from getting as far as I should on it, but I am still hoping to complete all 34 planned Cantos by next year. I've also been editing previous entries and the early drafts here don't do it justice. :) It's a passion project.

Is it large enough to climb in?

I am still haunted by some of the imagery and cinematography. Watch it on the biggest screen you can. It's painted in blues and grays with bursts of fire. It will take your eyes breath away.

The banality of modern life. Having to earn a basic minimum instead of spending our finite time here exploring the heady domain of language and art.

I spent weeks learning CSS and coming up with ways to properly present my poetry in an ebook only to realize that for the largest installed base of readers it literally didn't matter. Most ereaders implement only the base functions needed to put text on the screen. Frustrating.

I fully support your project! Lyrical storytelling needs to make a comeback.
