I just finished reading "Master Slave Husband Wife" by Ilyon Woo. It is a very readable non-fiction account of a couple's escape from US slavery in 1848.

The diary of their travels includes Glasgow and the Trades Hall.

The bibliography and index may be a treasure for you.

Thankfully, this died in committee on 4-Feb-2025.
