🎓 In addition to my research background, I've led and managed Cientifico Latino's Graduate Student Engagement and Community (GSEC) program, overseeing a team of 12 graduate students to support underrepresented minority (URM) graduate students in STEM fields

• Presented at major conferences, including the Society for Neuroscience
• Proficient in diffusion MRI data analysis, using Python, R, and UNIX
• Experienced in project management and coordination of complex research initiatives

• Led an independent research project in neuroscience, focusing on aging and navigation.

This has been the worst flu I’ve had since I was a kid. I’m feeling much better but I did have to go to urgent care and get an IV. I know it seems dumb of me to not mask knowing my diagnosis. I’m still coming to terms with RA & understanding that my immune system just doesn’t work like it used to.

CNS was my first conference after getting diagnosed with RA. I’m still coming to terms with what that means for me & taking care of my body. I realized that I should’ve been way more careful about masking. Caught a terrible flu on the last day and I’ve been recovering since.
