Today in my world has been all about @livingedgeconf.bsky.social and focused on community driven liberation theology, so I am so tired I can't feel my body existing, but once again in awe at the defiant, beauty and resilience that is fostered in disabled lives

We now welcome our keynote speaker, Rabbi Julia Watts Belser.

Rest is all over scripture. It’s the full embodiment of accepting limits.

This time taught Laura to be the recipient of service, not the giver.

Laura shares her journey with Long Covid and life in the wilderness.

14th Annual Conference on Disability and Church in partnership with St Martin-in-the-Fields and Inclusive Church.

Like the prophet Ezekiel, disabled people can feel overwhelmed by the places we inhabit. Surrounded by bones - by the difficulties of life and by the hostility and injustice of our culture - we can easily lose hope.

But God asks us the question, “Can these bones live?”

Our next exhibition will be 'Seeking the Disabled Christ' (30 July-27 Aug). This collection of prints by Newcastle-based chaplain and spiritual director Rachel Holdforth invites us to see Christ in solidarity with all humanity.
