The part that hurts me is so many people come to genAI “wanting to make something” and then have ZERO curiosity to dig deeper into that craft.

The part I wish we could end is the myth that the people doing truly heinous are secretive at all about it.

We spend so much energy on fruitless self policing like there aren’t full throated zoos/pedos with merch and full throated admissions of their abuse.

I just dusted off Gran Turismo which feels like it might scratch the itches… the way racers have moved so hard into “arcade” or “sim” with very little in the middle had me missing the kinda career-builder aspect

I was a huge FTB fan a while back. I def need to be careful about picking up “system building” games 😅

I’m esp weird that I really want ~20min loops I can pick up and put down. I picked up the new katamari game which should have been a good fit, but it made me feel like a “bad gamer”

I’m trying not to go down a nostalgia hole, but there’s def a lot of “just the way things are” that feel kinda bad and dumb just because it assumes you’ve been playing all videogames continuously for the last decade

Been trying to pick up An Videogame as a way to balance my burnout… and man 😅 I’ve been out of the loop for a while and I am quite bad at a lot of the latest ones

A friend keeps nudging to rent a real working studio space for stuff… and the way City of Seattle has some arts districts stuff set up it’s not a wholly stupid idea 😅

I haven’t seen any suited for dark rooms yet, but there was a project near Pike Place that might still exist
