42 laps to go and Bubba says he can't attack like he did early in the race. He's not sure what happened, he said maybe the shade, but it's just off now.

Bubba's still mad at himself over the speeding penalty. He loves the handling, but he's frustrated about being stuck a lap down.

"We were the fastest fucking race car on the track there, I know it." - Bubba

The 9 is the first car a lap down, now Bubba is behind him.

"Where did he get popped?" - Bubba

Lap 114, Bubba says he has nothing in the center. He has to give up time everywhere else to make it through the center. He's fallen to P9.

P6 for the 23 in stage one.

The 23 pitted under caution. The tires were corded again but Charles says they're better than the first set.

Bubba says he was waiting for it to be him. Said the car is killed from the tire wear. He said he likes the balance but he just needs to do a better job taking care of the right front.

Lap 40, Freddie tells Bubba there were some cords showing on the right side tires, just like practice.

Looks like Bubba will be P8 after all pits cycle.

The 23 just made a pit stop.
