Two human skeletons face each other on the floor, each with too many limbs and bones to count. A rusted knife is embedded into one's chest, and the other's skull has been shattered by a hand axe, which is still stuck in the pavement. Sand, swirling in endless fractal patterns, is starting to cover the bodies.

The foggy landscape of an empty city. Over the buildings looms an enormous pyramid of steel, made of smaller and smaller pyramids. It appears to be falling apart, beams falling to the abandoned city below.

A single human skull lies on the overgrown floor. It has many faces, eyes, noses, repeating in a fractal pattern. From the cracks in the bone, a small fractal flower emerges. The water behind swirls in shimmering patterns.

The Fractal is fate. The Fractal is the end.
Each body, one by one, twisted and failed. Humanity consumed itself under the weight of change it could not control, change too large to adapt. Their only legacy the fading scars they inflicted on each other.
Ages pass, and humankind becomes a memory.

Excellent, mainstream coverage is what they fear. Don't let up the pressure now.
