Watched Wolf on CNN for 5 minutes while he interviewed Rep Marlin Stutzman an Indiana Maga blaming the Shutdown, the loss of Snap and everything else he could think of on the Dems. Not once, not twice but over and over. Not once did Wolf ask, How it could be Dems when Maga has the House and Senate.

Dwight Collins: โ€œTrumpโ€™s tariff arguments just crashed and burned at the Supreme Court. During Wednesdayโ€™s arguments over Donald Trumpโ€™s โ€œemergencyโ€ tariffs, the justices โ€” including several he appointed โ€” seemed openly appalled by what they were hearing. What was supposed to be a high-stakes test of executive power turned into a 90-minute demolition of the administrationโ€™s case.

Solicitor General John Sauer walked into the courtroom talking tough about โ€œnational securityโ€ and โ€œforeign threats.โ€ He walked out bloodied.

Chief Justice John Roberts โ€” usually careful to hide irritation โ€” flatly told Sauer that his reading of the law was โ€œa misfit.โ€ Even Neil Gorsuch, one of Trumpโ€™s own appointees, pushed back hard, asking what would stop Congress from simply giving the president all its taxing power if this logic stood.

When your own court starts comparing your argument to an abdication of democracy, youโ€™re losing.

And thatโ€™s what this was: a slow-motion collapse of Trumpโ€™s favorite con โ€” calling something โ€œAmerica Firstโ€ while making Americans pay the bill.

Because letโ€™s be clear: tariffs arenโ€™t some foreign punishment. Theyโ€™re taxes on us. On workers, on farmers, on the people Trump pretends to fight for. His โ€œglobal tariff planโ€ would have raised prices on cars, groceries, electronics โ€” anything that crossed a border โ€” and funneled those dollars straight into the White House.

For months, Trumpโ€™s team has argued that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 gives him the authority to declare an โ€œextraordinary threatโ€ โ€” and then tax it. The โ€œthreats,โ€ apparently, include fentanyl, Chinese imports, and the U.S. trade deficit.

But as Roberts dryly noted, that law was meant for sanctions and asset freezes โ€” not for turning the president into a self-funded emperor.

This is the first time weโ€™ve seen the Supreme Court, even this one, draw a clear line between executive power and economic autocracy. No one expected it. And thatโ€™s what makes it matter

A ruling hasnโ€™t come yet. But if Wednesday was any indication, Trumpโ€™s plan to tax America by fiat may already be dead in the water.

And maybe, just maybe, thatโ€™s the faint sound of a system remembering how to defend itself.โ€

Healthcare has become a luxury item in a country full of people who can no longer afford luxuries.

Makes you wonder. Is the system broken? Or is it doing exactly what it was built to do: keep the sick desperate, the healthy scared, and the rich reaping the profits?
