I don’t think anyone has a good answer to his observations about causality and induction. Einstein cited the Treatise as a major influence on his Theory of Relativity, and Hume’s theory of causation fits neatly with quantum mechanics. Plus his prose is great. 👍

Typo - The correct title is Treatise OF Human Nature, not “on” Human Nature, although after reading it I’m not sure of anything anymore.

I just finished Book 1 of Hume’s Treatise on Human Nature and need a metaphysical therapist.
