Walz won't go to war with ICE now. That's inviting the insurrection act. But the fact he called them up means they are under his command. That's an advantage if it does come to a showdown. Avoiding such a destabilizing event should be preferred. But that's the collision course we're on over votes.

Absolutely. It's an all-of-government power grab for the White House. Loosing the midterms will be a huge setback for their tactics and strategy in pursuing their extremist goals as I see it. And that sets in motion other gears that can start to grind them down instead.

Musing ..If this gets bad enough, governors will use their power to call up the Guard to protect election sites. Walz has already done that in Minneapolis to deal with the ICE's assault there. If Trump tried to usurp the Guard, it can be argued it's an illegal order. He has no power over elections.

Another mystery with Gabbard's presence at the Atlanta ballot seizure, if it it's part of an intel op. The CIA is breaking the law in any country in which it conducts spying ops, including in the US illegally. Such intel isn't admissible in court. And it's poison fruit for all evidence built on it.

Any phone call Epstein made while in jail should have been recorded, local or federal facility. That's another Easter egg hunt, if the recordings were subpoenaed at some point or are archived that long. The just-released Bannon interview offers at least one name to start with.

The use of classification to conceal misdeeds or information embarraassing to the government is not new. In the case of Gabbard, it's likely the same. And if you think of it that way, Trump's friendship over the years with Epstein means the odds are very high Epstein also was providing pimp services to our now-47th president, given Trump's history of sexually abusing women. It's sick stuff.

25 minutes in Epstein says while jailed he called the head of Bear Sterns and a JP Morgan exec. Both calls were made just as the 2008 financial crisis hit. Who put the calls through from a jail cell in Florida? Why did they take the calls? Epstein's money was on the line, and he had pimp secrets?

As I think more about the Lemon case brought by DOJ that argues the media, by being present and broadcasting, was promoting terror and violence... well, I'd argue that's backwards.

Because everything was being captured by broadcast media, the propensity for violence to erupt was vastly reduced.

The Lemon case is a DOJ slap lawsuit. It has a basis in intimidation, not 1st Amendment law. And grabbing headlines. But before it's all over, Don Lemon will have more credibility and audience reach. Authenticity does that. This is a net loss for Trump. Because Lemon has an incentive to fight it.
