REPUBLICAN Congress. How hard is it for people to get that? The Congress is controlled, fully, by the republicans, and more specifically by Mike Johnson. This lumping of "all" Congress like this, is why people grow cynical and believe that "both sides are the same." they're not.

REPUBLICAN congress is complicit. The Democrats don't have the power to bring anything to a vote. People need to think twice about voting for the "nice local real estate guy who is now my Rep." and instead realize that Congress has more power over your life than even the President.

Reading about complaints that military commanders have been telling subordinates this war will facilitate Armageddon, and they should be happy about it. Also, almost universally, they are saying that the bloodier the battle, the better for that purpose. The Dept of War is part of this plan.

I will take great pleasure in seeing Mike Johnson booted out of power in the midterms. He has been a major obstructor and has done tangible harm to our democracy. His "management" of the House, and refusal to call them in to vote, is his special brand of right wing activism and trump ass-kissing.

I loved many things about Tacoma, like Top of Tacoma, and Proctor District, but it turns out that I could not handle the gray. As an LA-girl, it was rough. I do love to go back and visit, though!

There is something about the way the air feels there. It kind of touches your skin very gently. And of course, the light is amazing.

Such a beautiful and caring thing to do. I lived in the Tacoma area for a while, and returned to my real home in California. Santa Barbara is my favorite place in the world, maybe someday, my hometown.
