I love being a human artist and creating something never before seen, out of my mind’s eye. I love making every decision with care. I love trying and failing. I love noticing mistakes and fixing them. I love it all.

While I'm on the topic of vis dev here's another observation I have:

the inherent desire in the art of modern cinema/animation/games to constantly have people talk to fill silence or move the camera in 3d space comes from an insecurity around letting things stand still and *breathe*.

Give me art where someone decided it needed to exist so much that they devoted a significant portion of their limited time on Earth to create it.
