I realize maybe tit-for-tat is not the right word to use here but say I am a referee and for some idiosyncratic reason i don't like something in a paper. If I am a repeat referee I keep rejecting the paper. The tit-for-tat can happen if the authors learn my identity and use the same strategy on me!

I have to admit that while people are quite shocked by the WH events today, to me this is simply just a sign of what this administration is doing. In fact, perhaps it is quite good that Zelensky decided fight back against the bogus claims. To me, we crossed a line when we voted for Russia in the UN!
