I do understand that. It's difficult to know what's coming, and that lack of certainty brings with it a lot of fear. My family fled to America right before the Holocaust really "took off" so to speak. There's a certain etching of that in my bones

Is it just me, or does it feel like the world being ruined by tech oligarchs has kind of broken our collective social media spell?

Like, even those of us who still use it, for work or play or whatever, it’s just like “Yeah, this just isn’t really all that fun anymore”.

Anyone who says empathy is a sin should honestly just be laughed out of the room and ignored completely because literally nothing they say after that could possibly be worth anyone’s time.

Their moral compass is fucked. Their opinions do not matter.
