My goat is finally back with a new upload in the big '26.

Same with MKW adding the random npc characters. I think they are wierdly afraid of making new mainstay characters, but even so why not just add in the characters from the carious rpg spin offs?

The game is peaks and valleys for me but I dont regret the time I put in. It was definitely a comfort game from like 2018-23 though I havent gotten around to the latest expansion. Unsure if you've played FF beyond 14 though early on I think it had stronger identity and things felt less homogonised.

I legitimately watched the trailer ages ago having no context and thinking it was just a weird fictional film about a signing monkey.

Only to find out weeks later it's supposed to be a biopic about Robbie Williams of all things. I think I sustained actual whiplash.

That's why they generally say Neo Geo in Latin America was THE console/arcade option because it dominated the market and made the most sense financially. Neo Geo is still relevant in Latin America despite it never taking off elsewhere. SNK even acknowledges Latin America markets and makes reference

Both I'm pretty sure, the arcade cabinets were cheaper than others and you could have multiple game cartridges in a cabinet (6) in one cabinet so it was more cost effective. Snk had a Latin america and Asian markets and their home Neo Geo consoles did well and were east to bootleg.

Not sure on any debacle, but Neo Geo had a chokehold on the arcade scene there because pretty much everything else was so expensive there and not as available. So Neo Geo machines were plenty and it was pretty easy and common to make bootleg cartridges for them. It's what was cheap and available.

Haven't gotten back to 14 since taking a break after 6.2 (too many other games). But BOY do I start fiending for it again when that itch to grind comes back strong.

Ah, I'm used to reading Webcomics and manga online as it's easier to binge stuff. Webcomics I typically would just bookmark and come back after a while as opposed to trying to keep up each upload.

I'd recommend Octopus Pie, Kill 6 billion demons and the stuff under the 'Johnny Wander'umbrella

One thing I at least appreciate way more with this app, outside of not being on twitter, is actually seeing artists on my feed again.

My old algorithm just felt awful or just clogged with the same 3 accounts. Twitter just seemed to push down all the artists I would follow.

I took a break from most of my go-to webcomics, usually until I hold off, then revisit them once theres a hefty archive to binge. I can never keep up weekly.
