They serve to keep state power in check by demonstrating “there are more of us than you so fix your shit.”

The way people are talking about the current demolition of research funding and HE legitimacy reminds me of the early days of COVID when I (and others) said it would be at least six years before any normalcy. Rage, despondency, rejection…eventually voting for a dictator just to feel alive.

There’s another faith-led Moral Mondays protest in front of SCOTUS right now — this one noticeably larger than in weeks past.

The march from a church to SCOTUS, where people will decry cuts to healthcare programs in the GOP budget, is led by pastors and wheelchair users (and some who are both).

As a coder, I’m torn as to whether I preferred the way I had to essentially memorize a dozen different alphabets to read handwritten notes, or the way I have to figure out if documentation is relevant to a current stay or if it’s copied and pasted from every admission within the past two years
