My kid went to Forestkids.ca for most of their formative years right here in Hammonds Plains. It was absolutely the best thing for them and its a wonderful place.

Its exactly where mid to high density housing SHOULD be.

I saw an awesome double showing a few years ago of The Thing and Alien. What an amazing pairing. I'd seen both dozens if not hundreds of times at home, but seeing them in a theatre with a crowd and being fully focused on them was next level for both movies.

Too many hours into this one. Satisfying and frustrating as hell. :)

Even better the RCMP gets to decide what's legal or not without any oversight. New stuff gets banned by memo constantly and you could be at the range with an illegal firearm that will get you in BIG Federal trouble and not even know it. 3/

And don't get me started on the way the bans were done. There's literally MILLIONS of dollars of firearms in peoples closets that you can't legally use or take outside the home that the government won't decide what to do with. 2/

This is precisely the problem with firearms in Canada. They initially banned 'All AR-15s and derivatives'. What makes a derivative? It seems like looks as 'because we say so'. In Canada right now there's literally about 5 centre fire semi autos legal left period. 1/
