What a different and MUCH better experience that DQ2 HD-2D is. I’m only ~5 hours in and it feels MUCH better than its DQ1 counterpart.

Gotta make sure Super Metroid in the #1 spot gets its flowers! I’m expecting no less than 47 minutes of content on this game alone 😁

Finished Dragon Quest 1 HD-2D.
I appreciated the QoL upgrades!
I did not appreciate the group battles or the loss of that adventuring spirit and exploration the OG had.

Definitely excited to start DQ2!

Often heralded as one of the greatest video games of all time, I have to disagree. And while I enjoyed this entry when it first came out 15 years ago, the Switch version we just got was an exercise in both fun and frustration.

I’ve done this before 15 years ago, but man I must’ve forgotten how tedious it was to get all 120 of these damn Green Stars! The more I play Mario Galaxy 2, the more I realize how much better Galaxy 1 is.

Completing the hattrick and best Castlevania: Dracula X for the first time.
