Logging off for the day. Tomorrow I need to ensure that the concept of peak complexity is covered. We are way past, and many of the comfortable academic folks assume current complexity. When we are limited to raw crisis needs, maps **can** be created as a tactical and strategic snapshot.

The #vim mode for #zettlr solves many of the problems I've faced writing #markdown text. A big one is that you can compose in one line without breaks, but still navigate with visual lines. The defaults just work naturally for me. I'm sure I could could geek out on .vimrc a bit more, but this works.

I need to remember when using social media, that I'm replying/posting with caffeine in my brain while most of the people I interact with are on the other side of the world, and ending their day with a more relaxing substance. I'm not sure why, but I get the most interaction from UK and Germany.

I used to announce my ORCID, and bind triple.pub and triples.pub to it. I got better engagement, sure, but **that is a lie**. I'm not academic. I'm an IT nerd, hit by e-waste reality. Doubling down on an identity of a 1.44MB floppy disk with an insanely simple code repo backing it is more honest.

@norabateson.bsky.social said that productive change wouldn't happen in the comfort of self-congratulatory conferences. We are facing a double bind in many domains, and something entirely different will emerge. Our role in emergence will be punk rock. (My paraphrase.) I always liked this framing.

Most of my posts are from a terminal using #vim and command line. I play a game where I see if I can get the spelling right with plain :set spell first, before moving over to a more comfortable #aspell. I have yet to come up with a convention of spelling #TagCamels; sometimes I add, sometimes not.

The anti-modernity trope in science fiction movies like Dune, Foundation, and Star Wars makes a friendly encounter with modern technology seem plausible; however, this is just a pacifying cultural dream. Modernity is seductive. The harsh morning light shows the reality of the night's tryst.

I'm here to share my Logical Map idea, tools and documentation. My premise is that we can't change the underlying small programs that generate our world; however, we can use a map and a ruleset within culture to adapt and guide at reset.

Re-framing Logical Map to include the small programs idea is a challenge for me. I'm excited about the idea of it. It seems to fit better, and explains some of the #DoubleBinds I've faced. It is unique. We reference #moloch and the #SuperOrganism , but recognizing #StephenWolfram physics is novel.

I took the 650MB multimedia presentation I made in 2021, and shrunk it down to 1.44MB. The core ideas still hold for LM; however, I'm moving lower in the stack to small programs as origin, and re-framing with cultural references, like when using landmarks when lost in the woods.
