I lived in Pennsylvania Dutch country for several years. The simplest (and maybe a tad simplistic) explanation is that Mennonites are progressive Amish. E.g., Amish drove buggies with real horse power; Mennonite would drive black cars. Any chrome (fenders, trim) was painted black.

I'm sure he could sense their superiority in the running department.

Yeah, i'm admin, too. Dave has an equal partner in all cleaning since his retirement. Lately he's added doing the dishes in exchange for me cooking. He's not one of those chef-y guys.

My David is not the handiest. But he has improved over the years. We call a handyman service for situations calling for actual skills.

Greyhounds are self-rewarding, when they can get away with it.

Lance perfected the roast beef on the counter combination lift and snatch. Actually I didn't mind since it was excessively fatty and I didn't want to have to eat leftovers.
