I feel like I've figured #tetsuya #nomura out... he is, at heart, the type of writer and character creator who would've really found his calling writing shonen manga for angsty 13 year olds... and he never really had the desire to move past that particular style or demographic.

Maybe there is already a term for it, but looking back on a lot of old art there is often a sort of 'Accidental Brilliance' that came from limitations, either from budget or lack of experience that when projects are remade, sometimes even by the same people, they completely fail to replicate.

Are #Deckbuilder the new #metroidvania? The cheap/easy option for indie devs to fall back on? I feel like I see them absolutely everywhere now.

This is a 2025 media thread, does that mean you've found a way to play it in current year? has a Private Server finally been made?

Currently building a new PC, which will be very helpful for video editing and totally not a means of playing new games with fancy new graphics.

I am still super torn when it comes to integer scale for #NES and #SNES games. the whole 8:7 to 4:3 aspect ratio thing has me stuck.. because the games WERE meant to be displayed on 4:3 tvs. So.. presumably the stretch was intended, right?

Okay.. there comes a time when not everything is the dev or companies fault though. If players aren't willing to look at their own system settings when something begins to bother them.. that's kind of on them xD

Can you not turn off the notifications in the settings like you can on playstation?

I never would have expected this, but ive grown to really like the #Sega #Saturn controller. Generally co trolelrs without handles/grips are very uncomfortable to me, to the point of not really being usable, but ive had all day sessions with Saturn with no issues!

I'm talking about on PS5.

For fucks sake, we are seriously at a point where companies don't even try to make games that are meant to RUN on current PC and consoles. #Capcom, did you not learn from #dragonsdogma2? The performance of #MonsterHunterWilds is fucking ridiculously bad.

This is like, my 4th attempt to try and play #MassEffect Andromeda and I'm struggling so much to get through it. I think most of the hate is blown out of proportion. It's not an abomination, it's just boring. A bland, boring game, repetitive game.

Fascinating to find out that the rumors of #SkiesofArcadia on GC having a lower encounter rate than the DC original is completely false. Makes me wonder how many other famous 'changes' to games are actually incorrect.

Are there any First Person Dungeon Crawlers or #Blobbers with actually good stories? Tend to bore of them quickly because there is so little to them, and I'd like to change that.
