O “Discover” daqui é ruim demais, demais da conta. Conta de fã de gente aleatoria, conta de propaganda estatal, e nada de conteúdo que se assemelhe ao que eu sigo, interajo ou tuito.
Como arruma?

The disdain for capital-t-Truth (as Foster Wallace gave us) is my biggest contempt here.
If you own the main communications platforms the world uses, and you start to openly disdain truth, you want power and control above connection. You’re disconnected from doing the work™️.
Ah so Zuckerberg had to give in on homo/transphobia and sexism too… www.wired.com/story/meta-i...

Is there a geopolitical shift so severe that either companies align or are persecuted (China style)? Has Zuck lost access to power and he now needs to mimic MAGA-techies to win it back?
What is going on?
Why openly attack the former administration?
Why openly attack governments in Latin America (with a not-so-subtle reference to Brazil’s Supreme Court battle against Musk)?
Why openly attack Germany?
Why nominally adding Trump to the discourse?
How’s this “good for the company”?

I do not align myself to most of what he announced (thus personal expression coming to BlueSky), neither to the politics he now boasts openly about. But mostly, I don’t really *get* a part of the boasting, at least in the “this will be good for shareholders” lens.

The full disclosure is that I admire Zuck in his roles as founder and CEO. Building Meta in the timeframe it’s being done is an anomaly, a true feat. He’s also brilliant as CEO, paired only by Satya maybe.
Also, I get most of what he announced today, the why and how he did it.

Se eu escrever “Tolkien” eu invoco esse canto nerd da internet por aqui, certo?

Ou eu é que sou bem esquerdopata e o algoritmo me revelou?
