And SHE'S AWAAAKKEEE SHE'S AWAAAAAAKEEE FINALLYYYY I CAN TALK ABOUT HER 🗣️🗣️🗣️

Colour art of the characters Ashley Lovell and Lake Bailey from the webcomic Silver & Iron. They are depicted in cutesy stylised forms with big heads and small bodies ("chibi" style) sitting in a heart-shaped box of chocolates wearing matching pink/purple outfits. The valet - an older woman with her hair in a bun - smiles at Lake on her way to the front door. “My shift’s pretty much over, was there anything else you needed?” “No. Thank you.” “Of course. Good luck with the girl, Lake.” “Thank you.” “The next valet should be here in about an hour. See you tomorrow!” “Okay. Thank you.” Dahlia meanwhile is shaking the package by her ear thinking “Not heavy enough to be a bomb… oh, who cares.” Her sweatshirt is revealed to show an airbrushed kitten. She opens the box and peers into it, saying “Ooh, now this is interesting.” Lake looks over her shoulder. “Hm? What is- Oh!” Inside the moulded box are four individual pre-filled syringes stylised in the same cyan blue that Ashley injected into the girl in the previous chapter. There is an envelope inside the box’s lid, which Dahlia opens to read from. Lake gazes in awe at the package, thinking “How can one guy be so…?” Dahlia: “There’s a note… let’s see… uhh… To the residents of- blah blah… My hope, as always, is that we can work towards a collaborative- blah blah blah… usual stuff- Ooh! Allegedly, these are-” Lake snatches the box out of her hand. “Hey! You don’t even know what-” He interrupts her, handing her one of the syringes before heading upstairs. “Yes I do. Take one.” Dahlia shouts after him, brandishing the syringe. “You’re too trusting! What if this is anti-vampire poison!?” Lake: “You know he wouldn’t do that.” Dahlia: “No I don’t! None of us do! God. At least be careful. Says here those needles are a silver alloy!” Lake pokes his head back in the door of the bedroom, his head almost higher than the doorframe, box tucked under his arm. “Any change?” Sorrel glances at him as he discards the sports pages. “Aye, she woke up for a tic, then rolled over an’ decided to snooze for another five minutes. No, y’great numpty. Wassat y’got?”

Lake turns his eye down to a syringe in his hand. "It’s what the wolf used to cure the girl. He dropped some off for us, too. Just like that. Do you know how much people would pay for this?” Sorrel regards Lake with a flat expression as he continues: “I’m going to carry one on me. Just in case. I dunno if it will work on vampires, but-” Sorrel swipes the syringe from Lake. “Me too, then.” Lake lets him, looking at him with some surprise. “You really trust him?” Sorrel observes the syringe, taking off the needle’s protective cap. “I trust your judgement. If you say his stuff works, then it works.” Lake allows himself a small, genuine smile as he reaches back down into the box, turning away, but turns back with less grace: “Oh, be careful, he said the needles are made of-” Too late, Sorrel has already given the needle an experimental touch, and his skin has stuck to the needle and peeled away, smoking. “Fucken- ouch!” Sorrel yowls. “Warn a pal sooner, won’t you?” He chastises Lake, nursing his own fingertip in his mouth with a scowl. “Fuck me, that stings…” Lake turns away again with another smile, reaching for a syringe. “Well, how else would a needle be able to jab into a werewolf? Or a vampire…” Sorrel: “Oh, you wanna get cheeky, now? Bend over an’ I’ll show your cheek exactly how a needle jabs innae fucken vampire…” An unseen speaker: “Um.”

The little girl is awake, sitting up in bed, her eyes wide and mouth flat. Depicted in colour, her skin is pale pink, her curly hair is a bright warm ginger, and her irises are the same red as the two men’s. She has a round face, big downturned eyes with prominent eyelids, feathered brows, and a more bulbous nose. Lake and Sorrel stare at her, equally shocked, as she continues, “Could you please be more mindful of your language? It’s making the space really hostile…”

Lake and Sorrel rush to the bed. Lake is nervous, unsure how to stand or where to put his hands, but Sorrel is more confident, leaning forward casually to rest his knuckles against the mattress at a comforting but still respectable distance from the girl. Lake: “Sorry- Of course- Um- so- you were- you’ve been- I mean, we’re- no, wait- This place is- shit. Um- Sorry!” Sorrel: “I’m Sorrel. The big one here is Lake. Can you tell us your name, pet?” The girl rubs her eyes as if waking up and takes a moment to gaze up at the men before replying, “Heliotrope.” Lake smiles. “Heliotrope…” He repeats. Sorrel turns to whisper to Lake with a flat look. “Well that can’t be right. Maybe she got damaged?” Lake glares at him. “Shh.” He turns his attention back to the girl, bending so that he doesn’t loom over her so much. “How do you feel, Heliotrope?” The girl looks at her hands with a confused frown. “Um… weird. I don’t know how to describe it… am I sick? Where am I?” Lake winces. “You were… caught in an accident.” Heliotrope flashes back to when she saw the werewolf emerge from an alleyway and drag her into its depths by her leg as she tried frantically to fight him off. The memories are depicted with harsh shadows in the same red as her eyes as they widen in recollection. “No I wasn’t.”

A character sheet for Roronoa Zoro from One Piece as a DND character. He is a green tiefling with short, stubby horns on his forehead. His sclera is completely red and he has sharp canines on the lower and upper row of teeth. He is wearing samurai inspired clothing, including dark green dirty robes, samurai green and red armor on his right arm and on his thighs, a green haramaki across his stomach and a red sash on top of it. He is also wearing black plants and samurai style red and black armor on his shins and sandals. There's also a japanese style straw hat resting on his back. On the left he is posing with a sword above his shoulder while grinning. He wears his robes on only one arm, exposing a set of scars on his chest, one going across from shoulder to hip and another horizontally along the bottom of his peck. Next to that is a headshot, showing his green short hair, scar over the left eye and golden jewelry, which are two rings on the right ear and three teardrop shaped earrings on the left ear. Next to it are two callouts, one showing a close up of his teeth, another showing him with the hat on, tied around his chin and covering his eyes. Underneath is a character sheet. It shows his name, his HP of 103, his speed of 30 ft. He is a level 10 Fighter Samurai, a Tiefling Half-Orc. His stats are: 18 strength, 14 dexterity, 15 constitution, 7 intelligence, 8 wisdom and 11 charisma. He has the Tough feat. Extras say: Three-sword fighting. Disadvantage on survival checks for localization (finding directions or locations). Advantage on CON saves against getting drunk.

THESE ARE SOOO GOOD IM SO HAPPY OMG. the garlic and herbs on sanjis sash. franky dwarf building his own limbs is such a good take too. robin is my favorite though omg. her big hat and swooshy sleeves. LOVE your chracter designs!!

High Elf Sanji with long hair and a dark blue outfit, including a blue-ish black sash wrapped over his shoulder and a white apron tied around his waist. His boots and arms are wrapped in bandages. He carries spices and garlic on his belt. There is a pan hanging from his back. Tiefling Zoro with green skin and short stubby horns, decorated with golden bands. He wears green robes with japanese samurai inspired armor on his shoulders, wrists and waist.

Dwarf Franky, wearing only red thongs and leather straps, as well as heavy goggles. His body is attatched to huge mechanical legs and arms, spewing steam. He has a long beard tied in a braid. Tiefling Robin. She has red skin and long horns that poke from underneat a large brimmed purple wizard hat, decorated with pink flowers. She wears a long purple dress that opens up at the center of her chest as well as a slit on her leg. She wears a sheer white blouse underneath the dress decorated with white flower embroidery. She wears a teal sash on her waist and a book, as well as some magical components including a bird skull tied to the belt on her waist. She wears thigh high brown boots.
