We’re in the middle of one of the largest TB outbreaks in US history. Maybe this wasn’t the best time for us to gag the CDC and halt MMWR.

Thanksgiving looks a little different when one of us is on call. I am thankful for my family, especially this little guy who was appeased with fresh baked cinnamon rolls, and fruit salad for breakfast while he watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. #dualphysicianfamily #livesofdoctorwives

This really isn’t the time to further erode public health infrastructure and leadership. I guess my husband shouldn’t retire his #prayersandPPE any time soon.

Take home messages:
1.)Physicians and NonPhysicianProviders are both important to the healthcare team but that doesn’t mean they are interchangeable.
2.)Transparency matters!
3.)Fiscal responsibility is great but if cost savings create patient safety issues then we need to find another way.
